Pilar is still alive! She survived the very harsh procedure today and more than two KILOS of blockage came out. There’s still another couple of kilos in there but now she can have a few handfuls of feed every day, increasing her odds quite a lot. They rate her at a cautious 20-25% survival chance now. Organ failure and starvation are the major threats now.
The hospital is going to continue flushing her stomach four times a day over the weekend. Monday or Tuesday, well, if she’s still alive by then, she’s not going to die.
